Email Upgrade on Sept. 20

HIS will be upgrading its email server software on Saturday, September 20, 2008, from 12:15 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.  During this maintenance process, customers who have email, website and IDX service will not be able to access their email or websites.  When the upgrade is completed, all emails that have collected in the queue will be re-delivered to the live email server, so there should not be any email lost during the upgrade process.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.  Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

In the event of emergency, you may leave a message in our emergency voice mailbox by calling the main office number and pressing * (star).   Leave your message and our phone system will notify our on-call staff that there is an emergency message.  Call 1-800-628-3121 if calling from the neighbor islands or 599-4224 if calling from Oahu.

Normal Office Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Open House Search on Aloha Living

Finding open houses is easier than ever with the new open house search on Aloha Living. While Realtors have always been able to enter open house information in REsearch to reach other Realtors and to show details on individual listings at HawaiiInformation.com, this new feature opens up open house information to everyone.

A one-click search to show all listings with open houses scheduled is now featured on the Aloha Living homepage.  And visitors can specifically choose to search for listings with open houses on the full property search page.

When you’re scheduling an open house, be sure to enter the information in REsearch, and directly reach househunters on Aloha Living.

Database Server Info

Earlier today we had an issue with the REsearch Database Server. We identified this issue to be a hardware failure, and one that required a restoration of the MLS Database. No data or photos were compromised during the restoration of the Database. We will be working to replace the hardware in the following weeks to prevent this from happening again in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience this might caused.

The MLS Database has been restored, and you should not notice any problems at this time.
