Office Closed on Memorial Day

The Hawaii Information Service office will be closed on Monday, May 28, 2012 in observance of Memorial Day. Normal office hours will resume on Tuesday, May 29.

As always, you can reach us after hours and on weekends by leaving a message on our emergency line. Just call (808) 599-4224 or (800) 628-3121 from the neighbor islands, and press * (star). Our phone system will notify our on-call staff, and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

Thank You For Meeting With Us!

To those of you who were able to attend our outreach and training events last week in Waimea and Kona, thank you for taking the time to meet with us!

As your local real estate technology provider, we hope you found value in our presentation, which covered what’s new in REsearch (from vastly upgraded maps to lockbox support to Cloud CMA), as well as a preview of what’s to come. We were happy to answer your questions, and brought back several pages of comments and suggestions that we will be taking to heart, and will do our best to implement.

This latest trip caps off the first member outreach tour for 2012, which included well-attended events with members in Hilo and on both the north and south shore of Kauai. And it won’t be our last. So if you weren’t able to join us, we will be back later this year, as part of our continuing efforts to be more accessible and responsive to our members.

Happy Lei Day! We hope your May is off to a great start. Members of the Hawaii Information Service team will be back on the Big Island next week, and want to meet with you!

We’re happy to see such a great response to our upcoming outreach sessions in West Hawaii! Our first session on Tuesday, May 8 in Kona quickly filled up (parking is limited!), so we’ve added a second session later in the afternoon. Meanwhile, we have plenty of room left at our Monday, May 7 session in Waimea.
