Office Closed on Monday, Electrical Work Planned

Arizona MemorialREsearch will not be affected, but some services will be unavailable.

The Hawaii Information Service office will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2014 in observance of Memorial Day. Normal office hours will resume on Tuesday, May 27.

Also on Monday, Hawaiian Electric has scheduled work in the Iwilei area that will cut off power to our offices. REsearch should not be affected, and you will be able to continue to do your work in the system. However, some minor systems will be affected as follows:

  • Our phone system will be offline, so you will not be able to leave messages or call the emergency line. However, in case of emergency, please send a message to our on-call staff with our temporary emergency contact page.
  • We will be unable to make changes to membership or services on Memorial Day. To avoid unexpected disruptions, we will hold changes received after Wednesday, May 21 to process next week.
  • You will be unable to edit your profile in REsearch on Memorial Day. If you need to change your profile or password, please do so before or after Monday.
  • Listing information on HIS-hosted websites (including customer sites and AlohaLiving.com), IDXes, and data feeds will not update on Memorial Day until power is restored. However, websites and IDX searches will still work.

HECO estimates the work will take up to eight hours between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. When power is restored, we will reestablish these secondary systems as quickly as possible, and will update our notices to let you know when everything is back online.

Of course, as this work involves elements beyond our control, we cannot guarantee that everything will go as planned. If you have critical work that needs to be done, we encourage you to complete it well before Memorial Day, or hold it until Tuesday.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and thank you for your continued support. All of us at Hawaii Information Service would like to wish your team a peaceful holiday weekend!

HIS LogoA Fresh New Look for HawaiiInformation.com

We will be unveiling a fresh new look for our website on Thursday, May 15, 2014. While our redesign will still quickly guide members logging into the MLS, this ground-up renovation allowed us to implement the latest in web standards and to better showcase our products and services. A lot has changed since our last redesign in 2009… but not our commitment to excellent customer service — and to helping you grow your business remains as strong as ever.
