Office Closed for Labor Day

FlagThe Hawaii Information Service office will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2014 in observance of Labor Day. Normal office hours will resume on Tuesday, September 2.

Looking ahead, our next observed holiday will be Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, Nov. 27 and the following Friday, Nov. 28, 2014.

Renewal Year Reminder

The renewal application deadline for Hawaii real estate salespeople is Nov. 30, 2014. To complete your renewal application online, visit MyPVL, the DCCA Professional Vocational Licensing site. Please take special note of the Continuing Education (CE) requirements (check your status here), and take advantage of CE opportunities available through:

HIS Office Closed Friday

Out of an abundance of caution, the Hawaii Information Service office will be closed tomorrow, Friday, August 8, 2014. However, we will be able to provide limited service remotely. While we will not be on hand to provide regular telephone support, we will strive to respond to email during business hours.

With the expected arrival of severe weather from Hurricane Iselle, all public schools and state offices will also be closed on Friday, and TheBus and HandiVan service will be suspended in Honolulu.
