REsearch 5.0 Updates

We’re continuing to make REsearch 5.0 better. We’ve just released 25 fixes and enhancements, building upon 65 previous tickets that went live last Thursday, March 22.

As always, if you do experience unexpected behavior when using REsearch, try clearing your cache to make sure you’re seeing and using the latest code. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.

We’d also like to begin acknowledging those that helped identify issues or suggested improvements addressed in these recent updates. Lockbox Integration

Among the many enhancements delivered with this latest update, we’ve now integrated lockbox tools into REsearch. Whether you use Supra or SentriLock lockboxes, you can now manage them and view activity reports within our system. Find the new lockbox management links on the Listings Menu:

In these last two promotions, there have been dozens of other fixes and enhancements (covering features that range from open houses to prospects to ‘rubber band’ map searches). REsearch 5.0 Fixes on March 13

If you encounter unexpected behavior, please clear your browser cache!

REsearch 5.0 will be offline for a few minutes between 2:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. We encourage you to complete and save your work in advance of that time. As with any code change, you should clear your browser cache before logging into the new system for best results.

The release of REsearch 5.0 on March 1 went smoothly, and users are now enjoying its faster maps, fresh look, and other enhancements. But we continue to make improvements and fix bugs, with several updates going live on March 13.

Upgrading our system from one that works in a handful of environments into one that runs on more than 40 different computer configurations means more testing than ever before, and often reveals issues that only affect users with a specific setup. Many of the bug fixes we’re pushing to live on Tuesday affect users of Internet Explorer 8.

Other critical fixes involve downloading data, from Microsoft Excel exports to addenda, and correcting and clarifying parts of our Market IQ.

As always, if you encounter any glitches or unexpected behavior when accessing REsearch 5.0 after this update, please clear your browser cache and close and restart your browser before you log in again. This resolves the vast majority of customer support calls we receive. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.

  • Fix custom format and downloads in IE8 (#17172).
  • Fix display of email field in contacts in IE8 (#17212).
  • Fix display of custom search and labels (#17238).
  • Add ‘connect’ link to header (#17176).
  • Fix Days On Market changes (#16956).
  • Fix issue caused by two users updating one listing (#16927).

Additional fixes include license search formats (#17247), prospect steps (#17205), display of the actions tab on the listing input form (#17204) and schools format (#17202).
